Mike Barnes, consummate guitarist, is a veteran of the Austin, TX music scene, fluent in blues, soul, rock, funk, R&B, and jazz. He was a founding member of Austin funk legends Steam Heat, and is a sustaining member of its spawn Extreme Heat. His musical influences include Sergio Mendes, James Brown, Herbie Hancock, and Tower of Power. Mike really shines in the small Trip combo! His personal website Is: www.mikebarnes.com

Bassist David Evertson hails from Moravia, NY, is a graduate of the Berkeley School of Music, and has graced the stage with several combos such as Cracker Box Gospel and the S7VEN Jazz combo. David's also showing his funky side as a member of Extreme Heat. TripTrio is lucky to have him now!

James Fenner, Austin’s favorite percussionist, has performed and/or recorded with everyone from Freddy Fender to Stephen Bruton to Eric Johnson to Joe Ely to Christopher Cross to Luther Tucker ... to TripTrio. He's the only one here who appears on Grammy-winning records ⭐️

Lissa Hattersley, who is in the Austin Music Hall of Fame (2013) as an original member of the Greezy Wheels, enjoys dabbling in many genres of song. Her experience has taken her from the Armadillo in the 70s, NYC in the 80s at the legendary Lone Star Café, residency at the Hole in the Wall in the 90s ... to now, where she's happy to be performing with TripTrio: ready to cross lines!
